To all new site visitors, welcome!  I hope you enjoy the features on this site that are dedicated to David Gemmell and his work and would like to encourage you to register and meet the rest of us on the forums.  There is a great group of people here who love to praise, debate, read and reread, and just all around discuss David Gemmell's work.  I think that with David Gemmell being a writer of heroic fantasy (emphasis on "heroic"), it touched us all in some way which is why we are drawn to other Gemmell fans.

This site has many features that can appeal to David Gemmell fans.  The forums have already been mentioned but there are also other areas such as interviews with David Gemmell, links to other David Gemmell related sites, and an image and photo gallery that includes pictures of David Gemmell him self along with real life versions of Druss' axe, Snaga, the Blades of No Return, various book covers in several languages.  Also on the site I have added a ZX Spectrum (an older game console popular in Europe) emulator and have available for play the game called "Legend" which was based on David Gemmell's first novel of the same name.

Registered users (registration is free) can become a part of the site not only in the forums but also by adding content to the site.  For example, in the Image Gallery, users can upload images as well as having a personal album to upload almost anything they wish (subject to site rules).  Users can also add links and submit book reviews.  Users even have a journal should they wish to use it.
