Death Will Have your eyes by James Sallis - An existential spy story
The Cold Spot by Tom Piccirilli - criminal noir story
Quarry in the Middle (Hard Case Crime #61) by Max Allan Collins - criminal noir story about an assassin. It has great dark humor.
Before They Are Hanged (The First Law, #2) by Joe Abercrombie
Last Argument Of Kings: The First Law: Book Three: First Law Bk. 3 (Gollancz S.F.) by Joe Abercrombie

All those authors are new fav potential big favs that i thought was good enough to buy books of after library reads.
"What is your name?"
"Why?"
"So I can mark your grave..."

Youngbloods by Simon Scarrow; my first one of his. And Lord he writes well!

Follows Napoleon and Wellington as they grow up.

You've got a treat ahead of you with Simon, his Revolutions series very good although you should also try his Macro and Cato novels.

After not having them in print for a long while, i recently bought the complete Drenai book collection (outside of Skilgannon's saga, i bought them in HB when they came out) and Morningstar. Reading them chronologically now and i am loving it as much as i have when i read (and re read them) as a kid both in Polish and English. What a treat it is to get into the very complex and profund Drenai Tales!
